I needed to get a new wireless card since my laptop’s internal card can only pick up A/B signals and my University switched to G-only. I will admit I was hesitant to buy this card due to past issues involving Belkin products (I don’t associate them with quality products), but $15 figured what the heck. So far I have been pleasantly surprised. Setup was simple and I have had no problems picking up signals anywhere in my house and on-campus. There are some minor issues I don’t like (might be a setting) where I’ll leave my laptop turned on overnight but have it shut and in the morning the internet will be disconnected and I’ll have to open the Belkin program to reconnect. But for the price I paid, it’s no big deal. I don’t need any fancy bells and whistles with it. As long as it connects to the internet, that’s all I need, and so far it has done that without problem and would definitely recommend this card.

Our newspaper (The Detroit News) recently strarted delivering papers on only 3 days/week. On the days the paper is not delivered, I can access an ONLINE edition on the web. However, I still wanted to be able to read “the paper” at the breakfast table, not on my PC in the computer room. I ended up buying a Belkin N+ Rouuter for my PC and this Belkin N Notebook PC wireless network card for my Notebook PC. This was my first experience using a router. It required some communication with Belkin technical support, but the system now runs flawlessly. I have not seen any of the lockups I’ve read about by people using other routers. Belkin technical support was very patient and found problems with both the main router setup on my PC and the wireless card on my notebook. I did find that it pays to shop for both the Router and the Wireless Notebook Card. [...]

Bought this wireless PC card when old Linksys one died. Am so happy with it. Roughly 10 minutes after opening the box I was surfing away with a 72Mbps signal and the amazing thing is that the signal router is on the other side of the apartment complex and also it is on 2nd floor and this computer on 1st floor! Add to that getting it at a sale price and all that makes me a very happy camper! Wooohooo!

I purchased this card along with the Belkin Wireless N Router. The installation and setup were easy, and the documentation is crystal clear. The card and router are operating very well. I am getting speeds of 72 Mbps at close range, and 55 Mbps at the other end of the house. The software that comes with the card and router makes it easy to understand and monitor your network. Highly recommended.

Card lasted about 3 years, during which time it worked well. Installation as I recall was simple enough, and you are offered the option for proprietary program to handle wireless networking, or let it default to Wnidows. I tried both options and both went fine.

It connected reasonably well with Linksys and Apple routers. Interestingly, the worst connection was with a matching Belkin N router, but that was the junk router’s fault.

No real problems with this card until it died unexpectedly.
