What the hell happened to the price on this? Almost a $200 increase for a slightly bigger battery and slightly bigger HDD? These machines are supposed to be CHEAP. Save yourself the money and get the other model.

I can’t seem to find a CD drive on my new little Acer Aspire One, Model ZG5. Apparently it doesn’t have one. Without it, I can’t download the MS Office program I have free access to through my university, and I can’t download the program for a wireless mouse; in fact, I can’t do much of anything except email. HUGE PROBLEM. I hope it’s “just me” and somebody can help me figure this out.

when i seen the reviews i thought that this was going to be sweet…. it is slow… cant do more than 1 think without it freezing… and now after having it and barely using it, the wireless started to quit on me and so i tried to repair it and it didnt work so i then restarted my laptop and the wireless doesnt even show up anymore in the connections… only the local.
i wish i would have gotten the hp mini computer than this one.

The machine is fine but the appearance really “SUX”!!! I e-mailed Amazon or the seller about 3 weeks ago about a deep scratch on the top of the display (not the LCD) & explained about the scratch, & did not receive any response to my e-mail, so I opted to keep the computer even though it appeared to be a REFURBISHED maachine. The ACER Aspire works fine but cosmetically is not NEW! So rest assure I will not be buying from AMAZON again due to this matter! Thanx for your response….finally!!
